BlueAnchor was called LedgrAI until 5 September 2026. Same product, new name.

## The spine

One card. Three businesses. The receipt knows which one.

You are the only person who knows which business a purchase was for, and you
know it for about three seconds after the tap. BlueAnchor keeps each set of
books apart, matches every receipt to the charge on the card, and produces the
filing lines with the document behind each figure.

## What it does

1. **Capture.** Photograph a receipt, drop in a PDF, or let BlueAnchor sweep the
mailboxes invoices arrive in. The original is stored read only and content
addressed with a SHA-256 hash, so the vault can show later that nothing was
   altered.
2. **Keep the books apart.** Assign a card to a set of books once and every
charge on it routes there. A corporation, a sole proprietorship and personal
   spending stay separate.
3. **Match.** Card and bank statements are imported and every charge is paired
with its receipt. Merchants are learned, so the same one is never asked about
twice. Duplicate purchases are detected, not just duplicate files.
4. **Report what is missing.** The charges with no receipt behind them, ordered
by which receipt matters most under the CRA's own evidence tiers rather than
   by size.

## What comes out

T2125 line numbers or GIFI codes depending on the entity, the GST/HST return,
the Schedule 1 meals add-back where the entity is a corporation, a per-receipt
check against the CRA's documentary requirements, and the document behind every
figure.

It knows which return it is producing. A corporation books meals at full value
on Schedule 125 and restricts them on the reconciliation. A sole proprietor
takes the allowable half on the T2125 and has no Schedule 1 to add it back.

## Who it is for

- **The owner of two or three small businesses**, some combination of a
corporation or LLC, a sole proprietorship and personal spending, in Canada or
the United States. They file themselves or hand
a folder to someone once a year.
- **Anyone who drives for one of them.** Drives are recorded as they happen and
priced at the rate the country publishes. Canada: the 2026 CRA tax-free
allowance, $0.73 for the first 5,000 km in the year and $0.67 after, $0.77
and $0.71 in the territories. United States: the IRS standard rate, 72.5
cents a mile from January 2026 and 76 cents from July.
- **Bookkeepers**, as a secondary and clearly signposted audience. A client side
capture tool rather than another ledger. Launch partners wanted, no fee in
  either direction.

## What it explicitly does not do

- It does not file anything and it does not give tax advice. Blue Harbour
Solutions is not an accounting firm and does not hold or imply any accounting
  designation.
- It claims no endorsement by, relationship with, or approval from the Canada
  Revenue Agency.
- It does not run payroll, and it does not compute the accelerated capital cost
allowance incentive. The ordinary Schedule 8 pool by class is produced.
- It does not run on Android yet. Android is next after iPhone, with no date.

## Evidence and sourcing

Every tax figure traces to a primary source with the date it was checked. The
input tax credit documentary tiers are $100 and $500, from CRA guide RC4022;
the $30 and $150 still printed by several accounting sites were superseded in
April 2021.

There are no customers, no usage data, no testimonials and no performance
metrics. BlueAnchor makes no performance claim of any kind, and publishes no
figure for money found or time saved, because no such figure has been tested.

## Where records are kept

Each customer's books are their own vault, original documents and a database,
never pooled with anyone else's. The vault is hosted by us in Canada, or kept
on the owner's own computer. Backups are copies, never the record.

Reading a receipt is the open question, and it is disclosed rather than hidden.
The image is sent to a vision model and the text comes back. That provider's
terms permit caching the image outside Canada, and the CRA has published nothing
on whether that counts as keeping a record abroad. An in-Canada replacement is
being costed.

## Frequently asked

**Do I need a computer?** No. We can host your books in Canada, reached from
the phone and any browser, or you can keep them on your own computer. Hosting
is by invitation while BlueAnchor is in testing.

**What does it cost, and when does it launch?** Personal $4.99 a month, One
business $12.99, Every business $29.99, in US dollars, with a 30 day free
trial. There is no launch date yet.

**Does it file my taxes?** No, and it gives no tax advice.

**Can it keep a corporation and a sole proprietorship apart?** Yes. That is the
reason it exists.

**Android or the United States?** Android is next after iPhone, with no date.
The United States is supported: US categories map to Schedule C lines, mileage
uses the IRS standard rate, and sales tax is deducted with the purchase rather
than reclaimed. The assembled year end filing pack is Canada only so far.
